Toby has an unbridled passion for Xterra - as evidenced by his tattoo.  Contact Toby if you have any questions about the course or race-day concerns.

Patty is the owner of Raise the Bar.  Her job is to find the right people to put this race together (did good there),   and find ways for local and industry businesses to take part.  If you are interested in sponsor-ing XTERRA Black Diamond, Contact her.

Kathy is taking care of the monumental number of race details like registration, lodging,  and food!  She also is a manager of Raise the Bar’s triathlon team. Contact her about any of that.

Raise the Bar LLC is the managing organization of XTERRA Black Diamond.  RTB also manages a triathlon team and multisport training events in the South King County, Washington area.  To find out more about RTB and our community of athletes, Click here.

The City of Black Diamond has welcomed this new and unfamiliar event into their community with open arms.  Apparently the pioneer spirit of adventure is alive and well in historical Black Diamond.  When you come to town, you’ll be welcomed by local businesses and a pedestrian-friendly speed limit of 25mph, which is taken very seriously by the local law enforcement to keep their town and citizens safe. Thanks for your attention to that!

The Palmer Coking Coal Company is the primary landowner where XTERRA Black Diamond is taking place.  RTB is very grateful to PCC for their generosity in opening their land to this event on race day. Palmer is a producer, supplier, and retailer of a wide selection of sand, gravel, topsoil, beauty bark, red cinder, lava rock, and other construction and landscaping products.

About Us

Yarrow Bay Communities is the presenting sponsor of Xterra Black Diamond.  Yarrow Bay is an active participant in the local community and invests in community events and programs.  We are grateful to their involvement in XBD - it will be a better event because of their generosity.

W.E. Ruth Real Estate Inc. Owns arguably the most challenging part of the XBD course.  You may or may not be thanking them for their generosity in providing some hilly terrain and challenging single-track.    Don’t worry about it - we’ll thank them on your behalf.
